1790: The first ever boat to be specialized as “lifeboat” was tested on Tyne River.
1814: During the War of Sixth Coalition, Russia and Prussia were defeated by France in the Battle of Brienne.
1819: Stamford Raffles landed on the island of Singapore.
1850: Compromise of 1850 was introduced in the US Congress by Henry Clay.
