Mao Zedong was an activist, a soldier and also the person who had a significant role in the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. 1. Mao Zedong was a visionary. After spending his childhood doing farming at his family owned lands, he joined China’s Communist party and started making histories.

2. Initially, Mao used to support Chinese leader Sun Yat-sen.

4. He later became a follower of the Leninist ideas, where he believed farming peasants can help in communism in Asia.
