You’ve got the whole of Southeast Asia along with parts of India and China that disagree with your disdain of this fruit. We get it, it smells. But if you’d actually get up and ask a local you’d find a completely different opinion on it. Locals love it, the smell doesn’t have any pungency to it, and it’s difficult to imagine why anybody would feel that way. I sympathize with your view on durians; I wouldn’t denigrate the tastiness of spice simply because I couldn’t take it.
